Privacy Policy
Last updated: 4 June 2026
WorkoutTrends is a personal iPhone app that charts how your training volume relates to your fitness markers over time. Your privacy is simple to describe because the app is built to keep your data on your device.
What the app reads
With your permission, WorkoutTrends reads the following from Apple Health (HealthKit), on your iPhone:
- Your workouts (type, duration, and distance).
- Four health markers: body mass, VO₂ max, resting heart rate, and heart-rate variability (HRV SDNN).
It uses this data only to compute the monthly trends and correlations shown in the app. You can grant or revoke this access at any time in the Health app under Sharing → Apps.
What the app stores
The app stores a single on-device preference — whether you have completed the one-time onboarding screen — in iOS UserDefaults. It stores nothing else.
What the app does not do
- It does not collect, transmit, or sell your data.
- It has no account, login, or server — there is no backend to send data to.
- It makes no network requests with your health data.
- It contains no analytics, tracking, advertising, or third-party SDKs.
- It does not track you across apps or websites.
Health data handling
Health data accessed through HealthKit is processed only in memory to render the trends you see. It is never written to a file the app controls, never backed up off your device by the app, and never shared with anyone.
Deleting your data
Because all app data lives on your device, removing it is removing the app: uninstalling WorkoutTrends deletes its stored preference. Your Apple Health data is unaffected and remains under your control in the Health app.
Children
WorkoutTrends is not directed at children and collects no personal information from anyone.
